2016 KIDS COUNT DATA BOOK: North Carolina improves in health across the board

North Carolina ranked 34th in the country for overall child well-being, up one spot since the 2015 KIDS COUNT Data Book. The Annie E. Casey Foundation found that children, families, and communities are experiencing improved outcomes in health and education. At the same time, economic well-being, education, and indicators of family and community remain a struggle throughout the state.
